The industrylands website is a fantastic resource for information about geography and land
use across Sydney and surrounding regions. It provides details on locations for developed and
potential business use and complements the industrylands website which provides details on
land suitable for industrial use.
iPlan is an initiative of the Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Natural Resources to provide a statewide framework for electronic planning
information and services. When fully implemented iPlan will allow users to:
- quickly find all planning policies affecting the State,
regions, local areas and individual parcels of land
- electronically lodge development applications for any parcel
of land in NSW
- select and overlay layers of planning and related data
- maps, aerial photography, or information on transport routes, natural
resources and environmental constraints.
It is important that visitors to this site are aware
that information is sourced from a variety of agencies other than the Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Natural Resources.
